Security & Architecture

Technical credibility, by design.

On-premise architecture, customer-controlled data and clear responsibilities — the foundation of every Xentron service.

Architecture principles

Designed around five principles.

  • On-Premise by Design

Infrastructure is deployed inside customer premises, next to the data it protects and serves.

  • Data Control

The customer controls corporate data, users, business permissions and internal governance.

  • Encryption

Encryption protects stored data, file sharing and communication.

  • Access Control

Identity and permissions determine who can access which data — including through AI.

  • Resilience

Backup, recovery and continuity capabilities help the business keep operating.

Reference architecture

Everything inside the customer premises.

Every request passes through identity and permissions before it reaches data or private AI.

Simplified conceptual view. Detailed technical architecture is provided in the Security Architecture Overview.

Governance & compliance

Designed to support your governance.

The Xentron operating model is designed to support data governance, cybersecurity and resilience requirements — for example those arising from GDPR or NIS2 — because corporate data remains at your premises under your control.

Compliance is always the result of an organisation’s overall measures. GDPR roles depend on the actual support, access and logging arrangements, and are defined in the contractual and data processing framework of your service.

More detail is available in our Compliance & Governance resources.
